I started doing crossfit again on Monday and though it totally kicked my butt, it was amazing. I used to do crossfit with my mom 3 times a week back in 2013 or something, but then she hurt her knee and we stopped. Then we started at the same place again around a year later, but everything didn’t always work out, so instead of wasting our money, because we could only come once a week, we decided to stop again.
I started mixing between doing a lot of different other sports then, but I never liked anything as much as that. There was just something about the people there, the trainers and the fact that we were outside, that I really loved.
So when my mom asked me if I wanted to get back at it again, I was all for it.
Luckily I’d been exercising regularly so I didn’t make a complete fool out of myself, but it was seriously rough and today, 2 days later, I’m so unbelievably sore. I had trouble getting out of bed this morning ’cause my legs and butt hurt so bad:P
And this might seem weird, but I’d missed that pain.
Another thing that I wanted to include in this post was something kinda really exciting.
I had an interview yesterday with the organisation I’ve chosen to travel abroad with next year. It was a preliminary kind of meeting, so they would get the feel of whether I was actually ready or not to go on that big adventure all by myself.
I was really nervous that they wouldn’t approve of me, because if they didn’t I wouldn’t get to go on exchange with that organisation.
I got a call in school today, from one of the girls who’d interviewed me,and she told me they’d thought I seemed ready and prepared enough for it! It was a big relief, ’cause then that was out of the picture and I wouldn’t have to worry about it anymore.
Now I only have the money thing to worry about… But it’s okay, I believe that everything will work out in the end.
All in all this day was quite alright. If you don’t count the fact that I got out of school at 4 pm in the equation that is. Because that fucking sucked.
Until next time, please enjoy this picture of a Corgi butt, (connected to its owner, don’t worry I’m not that weird).
