Let’s Look At My Playlist – January 2018

In my previous post I said that my next post would be something about China as well, but since I’m a big fat liar, that’s not what’s happening in today’s post (as you might’ve figured) 😛 The other post is coming though, don’t worry! I just actually made a new playlist this month so I thought I’d do the same as I did back in September, where I share it with you guys. The other post can be found here.

So yes, without further ado, let’s look at what songs I’ve been listening to this past month:

1. Thief by Ansel Elgort
2. Home Alone by Ansel Elgort
3. All I Think About Is You by Ansel Elgort
4. Dead by Madison Beer
5. Never Be The Same by Camila Cabello
6. Home by Machine Gun Kelly, X Ambassadors, Bebe Rexha
7. Obsessed by Maggie Lindemann
8. My My My! by Troye Sivan
9. Supernova by Ansel Elgort
10. Tip Toe by Jason DeRulo feat. French Montana
11. Plot Twist by Sigrid
12. Then by Anne-Marie
13. Brother by Kodaline
14. DownTown by Anitta and J Balvin
15. Friends by Justin Bieber and BloodPop
16. Personal by the Vamps feat. Maggie Lindemann
17. Never Enough by Loren Allred
18. The Good Side by Troye Sivan

Let me just explain why there’s so much Ansel Elgort on there 😛 You see, I found out that he’d released a new song, (Supernova), and I really liked it which then resparked my like for rest of his music as well.
Though the most important thing is the fact that freaking Troye has killed it yet again with his two new releases. I was so not prepared for it. Out of these 18 songs #18 The Good Side is probably my favorite. Every time I listen to it my heart breaks a little and I feel like crying. But it’s not a bad thing. I love it when songs make you just want to close your eyes and feel all the emotions. Speaking of emotions, I challenge you to try watching the music video for “Brother” by Kodaline without getting teary eyed. It’s so damn sad.

These last few days I’ve listened to a lot of Aquilo as well. They’re my favorite band and everything about their music is so calming, heartbreaking and just amazing. It’s exactly the kind of music I love. If you want to check out one of their songs go listen to “Almost Over“. It’s one of my faves.

Throughout January I’ve also been listening to The Greatest Showman soundtrack a lot, but the only song I added to my playlist was “Never Enough”. It’s so goddamn beautiful and the one from the soundtrack that hit me the most. Also, if you haven’t seen the movie yet, go do it. It’s really great.

And now, it’s time for questions ;P Do you like any of these songs on my playlist? And/or are there any songs on your playlists you think I should add to mine?
I’d love to know your thoughts, so please don’t be shy!

I hope you’re all having a great week so far ❤

Au revoir!
