My Favorite 7 Days Of The Year

A little over 2 weeks ago I could be found on the slopes in SΓ€len, Sweden. You probably wouldn’t even have had to look too hard since my outfit was pretty much just one bright color on top of another.

You see? Pink, yellow, pink, green. I’m always easy to find

Like last year, where I wrote a similar post, I just had to share some photos from my ski trip. The difference between this post and the last is the fact that we got a great camera this year. A Canon-something we just had to play around with. And by “we” I mean my dad mostly – I am not good with cameras πŸ˜›

Just like every year we go I absolutely loved it this year as well. I love the feeling of flying down the hills on my snowboard, listening to the crunching sound of the snow and breathing in the cold, fresh air
Even though you get up early every day and can’t stay up late because you’re so tired and exhausted at the end of a long day, it’s still the best thing I know. I love active vacations like this. Though it always feels like you need an extra week to relax after it, I’d rather have sore legs and be surrounded by snow than lie on a beach somewhere warm.

The reason it was also extra awesome this year was because it went really well on my snowboard – AND I didn’t fall so badly that I’d had to get picked up by a medic on a snow scooter *cough*maybe that’s happened twice to me before*cough*
So like yeah, this year was a total success.

I’m sorry, no more rambling, I’ll insert the photos now:

So this is just basically pictures of me snowboarding. I actually wasn’t about to fall in any of these either, so yay, go me! If you want to actually see me in motion you can always head to my Instagram and check out a video I posted there πŸ™‚

It’s just so darn beautiful. We were so lucky to get 2 days with sunshine and blue skies. Those days where you can see everything from the top of the mountain are by far my favorite.

This one week is what I look most forward to every year and all I wanna do when we go home is to go back again

Thanks for reading everyone, I hope you enjoyed the pictures!
My question for you today is; what do you prefer? An active vacation like this or do you love to just relax at a beach or by a pool somewhere? Please do let me know xx

That’s all I had for you this time, I wish you all a great day/evening/night πŸ˜€

In my case it’s goodnight, so buenas noches!

  1. Wow these pictures are so cool! I’ve never been skiing or snowboarding, but it sounds so fun πŸ™‚ I’d say I like active vacations more…otherwise I feel like I’m wasting my vacation haha
I loved all the photos in this post!

  2. Great photos! Looks like tons of fun. I grew up in Ski country- but never bothered much with it. I am more of a ‘go to the beach and relax’ kinda girl. (Which was the best part of where I grew up because in the winter it was skiing and summer… we had a very large beach to visit!)

  3. Great photos! I enjoyed the pictures that were taken from the top of the mountain. It seems so serene there. I like both type of vacations; relaxing and active. I think its good to have a balance of both and it also depends where the vacation is.

  4. These pictures are amazing! I’m not a fan of the winter season or the snow, even if I have to admit that it looks pretty, haha πŸ™‚ Glad to hear you had a lovely time πŸ™‚ x
